The backup and disaster recovery tools of today have come a long way from yesterday’s solutions—but many organizations are still limited by yesterday’s tools. FNI, Insurance Company based in UAE with good strong presence in Fujairah Emirate has been using Quorum for last 4 years. In Dec 2017, last year, they had an infiltration and Ransomware encrypted all their Production Server and Data. All their 12 Servers were infected at 7.00 am in the morning. The IT Manager, Mr. Ashok immediately called Quorum team for assistance as it was a panic situation as their office starts at 8.00 am and around 1000 employees use the system.

Quorum came to their rescue and immediately recovered their server online. They were up and working in no time and business transaction was not effected at all as all 12 servers were used as Production Server within one single Quorum Appliance.

This was not the end of the story, @ 5.00 pm another Ransomware attack infected the virtual servers within the Quorum Appliance. Built on customized Linux platform Quorum remained unaffected and stood tall as Last Line of Defense. Once again Quorum saved the customer’s day with Advanced Multi Level Recovery. Quorum is the only solution available today in the market, which does Multi-level recovery and takes backup snap-shot while the servers work inside the Quorum appliance.

Without any data-loss, they booted the servers with previous snap-shot and it was up and running. FNI rely on Quorum over other solutions because Quorum is built on a Hyper-Converged Infrastructure with customized based Linux based OS.
